Historic Background /Outstanding characteristics : Ban Nong Lom was established around 1739 by descendants from the Phutai tribe who migrated from Wiang Ang Kham, Laos. 210 years ago, they settled near an abundant swampy area suitable for farming. The villagers then, called the pond “Nong Lom” and the name has been adopted until today.
